What is it like to work with a coach?
Coaching is a present-focused and active process designed to support transformation and self-discovery. A coach will guide you through a journey of reflection and problem-solving, leaning into your goals and desires for the future, and ultimately leading you to the life you want to live. A coach will help you to identify where you are now, where you would like to go, and how you’re going to get there. You can choose to work with a coach around personal or professional goals. A traditional coaching conversation includes lots of thoughtful question-asking, space to think, feel, and be, and accountability to take meaningful action toward positive change.
How and where do we meet?
Sessions are held virtually via Zoom. In some cases, group coaching and workshops can be facilitated in-person.
What is the time commitment like?
Individual sessions are scheduled for 45 minutes, and are held weekly or twice monthly. An initial coaching engagement spans 4 - 6 months. In between sessions, you will be practicing new skills, spending time in reflection, trying out new ideas, learning about evidence-based principles and techniques, and other relevant action steps. You can expect to spend 30 minutes or more each week engaging with these things.
Group coaching sessions are scheduled for 60 minutes and can range from 2 to 12 participants. Large group workshops are scheduled for 90 minutes or up to two hours.
