Why I’m here

Hi! I’m Lauren Grau, the founder of Growth and Gumption, a Denver-based organization that provides professional coaching services to people and teams across the nation. Through an intentional, evidence-based, and reflective process, we aim to reduce stress, ensure more people engage in meaningful work, and increase overall life enjoyment.

My FAVORITE thing about being a coach, is that it’s all about YOU. This isn’t about me sharing my knowledge, or suggesting all the great ways I’ve learned to ‘live your best life’. This is about you uncovering everything that you already know, have the strength to do, and hold the power to be.

My professional background first began in non-profit management, where I deeply enjoyed working with others who might relate to the term ‘compassion fatigue’. Serving others can be an altruistic and rewarding life, but it’s also important to support yourself so you can continue showing up in a way that serves EVERYBODY. I also have specialized experience in coaching clients who work in financial services, Big Tech, project management, and health care.

I love music, all the outdoor Colorado activities, my husband + pup, sunrise yoga, and margaritas, in no particular order. Some of my top values are: Joy, Contentment, Balance, Peace, Inclusion, Curiosity, Travel, Diversity, Leisure, Nature, Growth, Optimism, Home, Serenity, Simplicity, Spirituality, Time, and Well-being.
